Dr Al-Araji is a Consultant Neurologist who has been an Expert Witness since 2013. He has completed over 1,500 reports in both clinical negligence and personal injury.

Dr Al-Araji graduated in 1977 from the University of Baghdad and completed his postgraduate training in General Medicine and Neurology in Iraq and the UK. His postgraduate neurology training included general neurology, neuro-imaging, clinical neurophysiology, neuro-surgery, rehabilitation medicine, intensive care, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-psychiatry and research methodology.
His current post as a Consultant Neurologist at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital in London, he undertakes regular neurology clinics. In his past immediate post as a Consultant Neurologist at the Regional Neuroscience Centre in Stoke on Trent, Dr Al-Araji’s duties included general neurology and specialised out-patients’ clinics, on-call duties for acute neurology take and a minimum of two ward rounds per week for in-patients.
Dr Al-Araji has special interest in inflammatory and demyelinating neurological conditions. His other duties also included teaching and supervising undergraduates of Keele Medical School during their neurology placement and postgraduate general medicine and neurology trainees.
