Medico-Legal Experience

Dr Varaich is an experienced general Dental Practitioner and accredited Expert Witness with more than two decades of clinical experience and a well-established medico-legal practice. She has been providing independent dental expert reports since 2006 and is recognised for her clear analysis, high-quality written evidence and courtroom-ready opinions.

Dr Varaich is Bond Solon trained in expert witness report writing, civil procedure rules and courtroom skills is accredited by The Academy of Experts. She currently produces over 160
medico-legal reports per year, demonstrating both her expertise and efficiency in handling highvolume, time-sensitive instructions.

Her expert work spans clinical negligence, personal injury, condition and prognosis, breach of duty, causation and regulatory matters, including instructions from the General Dental Council. She is instructed by Claimants and Defendants, reflecting her reputation for impartiality and professional integrity. She also has experience providing evidence in court and undertaking assessments in prisons and secure settings. She can provide evidence in court when required.

Her professional approach, clarity of opinion and deep understanding of both dentistry and legal process make her a valued expert witness in complex dental litigation and regulatory cases.

Clinical Experience

Dr Varaich has over 20 years of comprehensive clinical experience in general dental practice, delivering high-quality care across a broad spectrum of restorative, preventive and aesthetic
dentistry. Her clinical work has included extensive diagnosis and management of routine and complex dental conditions, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based treatment planning and
patient-centred care. She qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2002.

She has significant experience in restorative dentistry, including crowns, bridges, veneers, onlays, and complex multi-tooth rehabilitation. Her practice also covers conservative dentistry, managing caries, structural tooth loss, and restorative failure. She is also a current member of the Faculty of Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Her work encompasses endodontics, managing primary and re-treatment root canal cases, as well as minor oral surgery, including routine and complex extractions. She also provides treatment in dental implant restoration, working collaboratively with surgical colleagues to deliver single and multiple implant-supported prostheses.

She has delivered a wide range of aesthetic treatments, including whitening, composite bonding, and facial aesthetics, while maintaining a strong focus on function, occlusion and long-term oral health.
