As a member of the Public Guardian’s National Panel of Deputies, Jane handles Court of Protection applications related to best interests, care, welfare, and safeguarding. She is often appointed as a deputy for finances in catastrophic brain injury cases and as a professional trustee in spinal injury cases.
In addition to her deputyship work, Jane acts as an Expert Witness in high-value catastrophic injury cases, preparing reports on professional deputyship costings, health and welfare, and professional trustee costing for the High Court. She provides advice on community and social care law, mental capacity, safeguarding, and funding matters related to Local Authority and NHS.
With over 20 years’ experience and a wealth of expertise in the field, Jane has earned a strong reputation for her work in protecting the interests of vulnerable individuals. Her dedication to supporting those who lack mental capacity is commendable, and her insights are invaluable for those involved in serious injury cases.
