Medico-Legal Experience

Dr Arnaout is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in trauma and elective lower limb surgery. He has over a decade of experience as a medico-legal expert and is regularly instructed in both personal injury and clinical negligence cases. As an Expert Witness, Dr Arnaout provides clear, objective and evidence-based reports that are fully compliant with CPR Part 35. He is instructed on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants.

His areas of expertise include complex joint replacements, fracture management, surgical complications and consent related claims. He has completed the Bond Solon Expert Report Writing course, ensuring a high standard of compliance, professionalism and presentation in all expert witness reports.

Dr Arnaout is highly experienced in providing expert opinion on causation, condition and prognosis, breach of duty and liability.

Clinical Experience

Dr Arnaout is a highly respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 23 years’ experience. His career spans several leading hospitals across the UK including Emersons Green and Shepton Mallet. Trained in the UK he holds prestigious qualifications including the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS), the Fellowship of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT) and an MSc in Trauma and Orthopaedic Health Sciences from the University of Warwick.

His clinical expertise covers a wide range of orthopaedic procedures with particular emphasis on hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy and minor hand surgery. He also possesses advanced training in complex joint replacements and trauma surgery, underscoring his commitment to delivering exceptional surgical care.

In addition to his clinical practice Dr Arnaout is deeply involved in medical education and research. He serves as Director of Education at the Orthopaedic Academy and is the Editor in Chief of the award-winning Concise Orthopaedics.

Dr Arnaout is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through a combination of surgical precision, research and educational outreach. He resides in the UK where he continues to lead in both clinical and academic spheres of orthopaedic surgery.
