Dr Dimitri Leschinskiy is a seasoned Expert Witness, beginning his medico-legal practice in 2011. Throughout his time as an Expert Witness, he has produced over 1,500 reports, covering the full breadth of pain management and anaesthesia, including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), spinal cord injuries, and cancer pain.
He has a balanced workload ratio of claimant to defendant work and focuses his practice on personal injury cases, covering, but not limited to, condition and prognosis, road traffic accidents, public liability, and catastrophic injury. His specialist areas include denervation, sciatica, and chronic pain, with a particular interest in neck pain.
Dr Leschinskiy is known for his forensic and timely approach to his medical reports, and continues to demonstrate his extensive experience in working within the NHS and private practices. He has a deep understanding of the principles of Civil Procedure Rules Part 35 and his duty to the court.
Dr Leschinskiy has provided oral evidence in Court on numerous occasions, and has a number of witness summons pending for upcoming trial dates.

Dr Leschinskiy’s appointment availability is 6 weeks and he has a report turnaround time of 4 – 6 weeks.
Dr Leschinskiy is a full-time Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia. He qualified from the State Medical University of Donetsk, USSR. He received further training at Bath and the London School of Anaesthesia. He is particularly interested in issues of functional restoration in pain patients and the role of opioids in non-malignant pain.
His expert fields are musculoskeletal back and neck injuries, neuropathic pain, including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Chronic Pain Syndrome. He sees patients with work-related injuries and ongoing pain following road traffic accidents.
His Chronic Pain Management Team offers a Multidisciplinary approach. This includes pharmacological, educational, behavioural and interventional techniques. The pain management service specialises in providing advanced implantable neuromodulation therapies, cognitive and behavioural therapy and interventional pain management. His exposure and participation in the cognitive behavioural pain management programme (PMP) will significantly improve the quality of the chronic pain service.
