Dr Leschinskiy has been an Expert Witness since 2011. He has received various forms of training and is instructed by both Claimants and Defendants in personal injury cases. He is happy to opine on clinical negligence matters on a case by case basis.

Dr Leschinskiy’s appointment availability is 6 weeks and he has a report turnaround time of 3 weeks. 

Clinical Experience

Dr Leschinskiy is a full-time Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia. He qualified from State Medical University of Donetsk in the former USSR and received further training at Bath and the London School of Anaesthesia. Dr Leschinskiy’s areas of expertise include musculoskeletal back and neck injuries, neuropathic pain conditions like Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Chronic Pain Syndrome, as well as work-related injuries and chronic pain following road traffic accidents.

Dr Leschinskiy’s Chronic Pain Management Team utilises a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates pharmacological, educational, behavioural, and interventional techniques. The team offers advanced implantable neuromodulation therapies, cognitive and behavioural therapy, and interventional pain management. Dr Leschinskiy believes that the creation of a cognitive behavioural pain management program would significantly improve the overall quality of the chronic pain service.

Dr Leschinskiy has gained experience in organising and leading a Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Management Service. Basildon Hospital, a recognised Centre of Excellence in Neuromodulation Training, provided him with the opportunity to participate in on-site tutorials and case presentations for participants seeking to advance their skills in neuromodulation techniques, including both stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery. Through this experience, Dr Leschinskiy has gained valuable knowledge in treating patients with various chronic pain conditions such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Refractory Angina, and Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS).
