Clinical Experience

Dr Mavroudis is currently the Lead of the Concussion Clinic at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, and is a member of the FND service.

With academic credentials including medical degrees, a PhD, a diploma in criminology, and a degree in forensic medicine, Dr Mavroudis is a leading expert in the neurological field.

He runs a private practice in London and Leeds, and sees patients with mild traumatic brain injury and FND. He is a visiting researcher with the Leeds University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a fellow of the department of Neuropathology at Saint James’ University Hospital, a Professor of Neurology and Neurogenetics at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology, and Genetics and Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine.

Additionally, he is a member of the British Neuropathological Association, the Greek Neurological Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Medical Association of Thessaloniki.
