Dr Tatikola is a highly experienced Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine, providing expert medico-legal opinion in personal injury cases. With extensive NHS consultant experience and specialist expertise in interventional pain management.

Dr Tatikola specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of complex pain conditions, including chronic back pain, sciatica, neuropathic pain, headaches and joint pain. He has advanced expertise in interventional procedures such as epidural injections, facet and nerve root blocks, radiofrequency denervation and trigger point injections.

Over the past 5 years, Dr Tatikola has diligently produced over 170 medico-legal reports, encompassing a diverse range of personal injury scenarios, he accepts instructions for both claimants and defendants, offering a responsive, timely and forensic approach to medical reports. He has been asked to attend court and can provide evidence in court when required. He also holds the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Civil Certificate.

Clinical Experience

Dr Tatikola is an established Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine, with extensive clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pain conditions. His practice spans a wide spectrum of pain disorders, including lumbar and cervical spine pain, sciatica, neuropathic pain, arthritic joint pain, migraines, headaches and complex regional pain syndromes.

His practice is supported by detailed imaging interpretation, enabling accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment. In addition to his advanced pain medicine work, Dr Tatikola is an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist, providing anaesthetic care across a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopaedics, breast surgery, plastic surgery, general surgery and gynaecology. His background in perioperative medicine, airway management, patient safety and intraoperative monitoring further enhances his clinical breadth and multidisciplinary insight.

Beyond his clinical duties, Dr Tatikola plays an active role in NHS education and governance. He serves as an Enhanced Appraiser, Educational Supervisor and Honorary Senior Lecturer, contributing to the training and development of junior doctors and fostering high standards of clinical practice. He is also engaged in quality improvement initiatives and service development, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient care.
