Medico-Legal Experience

Dr Saha is a Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology. He provides specialist imaging services for arthritis, spinal disorders, and sports-related injuries, and holds the position of Trust Lead for Spinal and Rheumatological Imaging within his NHS practice.

He has undertaken advanced formal training in excellence in medico-legal report writing and excellence in courtroom skills. This specialist training underpins his ability to deliver clear, objective, and legally robust expert reports that comply with court rules and expert witness duties.

Dr Saha accepts instructions on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in clinical negligence and personal injury cases. He is experienced in providing independent expert opinion on causation, condition and prognosis, breach of duty and liability, strictly within the scope of his radiological expertise. He is regularly instructed to differentiate traumatic from degenerative pathology, assess exacerbation of pre-existing conditions, comment on injury timing, and evaluate the standard of care in musculoskeletal imaging.

Clinical Experience

Dr Saha is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, where he has been serving since 2014. He specialises in advanced imaging techniques for diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, including conditions affecting the joints, muscles, tendons, nerves, and spine.

In his NHS role, he serves as the Trust Lead for Spinal and Rheumatological Imaging, playing a key role in service development and the integration of advanced imaging techniques into clinical pathways.

Dr Saha graduated with distinction from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2006 and previously earned a First Class Honours degree in Radiological Sciences from King’s College London. He completed subspecialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at McGill University Health Centre in Canada, and further enriched his expertise through visiting fellowships at internationally renowned centres including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, and Jikei University Hospital, Tokyo.

His clinical practice focuses on high-resolution MRI and CT imaging for the assessment of complex musculoskeletal conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, degenerative spine disease, sports injuries, and soft tissue pathology. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary team meetings and the training of junior radiologists in advanced musculoskeletal imaging.
