Medico-Legal Experience

Mr Hussien is a Paediatric & Adult Spine & Neurosurgeon who has been working as a medico-legal expert since 2015. He has been working as a full time medico-legal expert since 2018 and is Bond Solon trained.

Mr Hussien has experience in Civil and Coroners Court.

He is instructed by Claimants and Defendants on clinical negligence and personal injury cases and has extensive experience with cases associated with:

  • All brain injuries relating to trauma or tumour
  • Spinal injuries and surgery including trauma, infection and tumor
  • Degenerative spinal disorders including slipped or herniated disks, spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis.
  • Whiplash injury

Mr Hussien’s appointment availability is 2 weeks and his report turnaround time is 2-4 weeks.

Clinical Experience

Mr Hussien trained in Neurosurgery in South Thames rotation including King’s College Hospital and Atkins Morley Hospital. He also worked at the spinal unit in Nottingham.

He obtained his CCST in Neurosurgery in 2002 and is on the Specialist register for Neurosurgery.

Mr Hussien has extensive experience in all aspects of Spinal surgery including trauma, degenerative disorders, infection, and tumour.

Mr Hussien has always been actively involved in teaching and has taught SpRs, SHOs, nurses, therapists and medical students at King’s College Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre and Morriston Hospital. He continues to teach at the London Spine Unit.
