  • Eyelid surgery (including cosmetic surgery) 
  • Facial laser surgery

Personal injury in relation to: 

  • Nonsurgical ocular trauma

Clinical Experience

Mr Hakin has been an Ophthalmologist since 1994 and currently works at the Taunton and Somerset NHS Trust. Part of this role was the responsibility of training junior ophthalmologists and medical students. He also works within his private practice and was an expert adviser to Nuffield Hospitals and formerly to the Healthcare Commission. 

His special interests include the management of cataracts, ocular trauma, eyelid and lacrimal surgery, including cosmetic eyelid surgery, facial aesthetic injection and laser treatments.
