Mr Lenfield has been acting as an Expert Witness for over three years, providing objective, impartial and comprehensive reports across a range of cases. He has a strong foundation in both physical and mental health, he brings a nuanced understanding of complex needs ensuring his assessments are thorough and clinically sound.

Mr Lenfield also provides highly specialised reports for Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) and tribunals.

Clinical Experience

Mr Lenfield qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2017 from Wrexham Glyndwr University. Since then he has built a diverse and impactful career across a range of settings, including mainstream and special schools, a specialist autism spectrum disorder (ASD) school, and an adult learning disability team.

Before entering the OT profession Mr Lenfield worked for three years as a mental health advocate a role he describes as both eye-opening and deeply rewarding. His passion for helping others is rooted in personal experience: Being diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) at the age of 12, he understands firsthand the life-altering challenges of mental health conditions. Through therapy and medication he has learned to manage his OCD and this journey continues to inform his compassionate and empathetic approach to practice.

Mr Lenfield has made significant contributions while working with the Manchester Local Care Organisation. There he provided specialist assessments and interventions for individuals with complex learning disabilities. His leadership skills and clinical expertise saw him quickly promoted to Band 8a Acting Health Team Manager. In this role, he took on key responsibilities such as HR management, referral screening and leading a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Concurrently, he served as the Locality Lead Occupational Therapist, ensuring the delivery of high-quality person-centred care.

Mr Lenfield combines clinical excellence with a deep understanding of the personal impact of mental health challenges, making him a highly respected practitioner and leader within the field of occupational therapy.
