Medico-Legal Experience

Mr Malde is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and trained under Bond Solon to gain his Expert Witness credentials. He is instructed by Claimants and Defendants in clinical negligence and personal injury cases. He has considerable experience of assessing serious incidents, performing root-cause analyses, and medico-legal reporting in his role as Clinical Governance Lead at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.

Clinical Experience

Mr Malde is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. He qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London in 2006, and completed his postgraduate research into the evaluation of men with incontinence after prostate surgery at University College London, for which he won the Gold medal for outstanding research.

He underwent specialist fellowship training in female, functional, neurourology and reconstructive urology at University College Hospital London, and now leads this specialist service in one of the largest urology departments in the UK.

He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is a panel member of the European Association of Urology Guidelines in Urology. He is an undergraduate and postgraduate tutor in urology for King’s College London Medical School and London deanery urology trainees.
