Medico-Legal Experience

Mr Kwaees is instructed by Claimants and Defendants in personal injury, clinical negligence, and serious/catastrophic injury cases. He will also undertake pro bono cases.

He has a special interest in knee surgery (adult and (paediatric)) and has been involved in cases spanning from degenerative changes to serious/catastrophic reconstruction surgery.

Clinical Experience

Mr. Tariq Adam Kwaees is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at a major trauma and tertiary referral centre for orthopaedics. His expertise in elective orthopaedics covers comprehensive knee surgery for all age groups, notably bridging the gap between paediatric and adult knee surgery. He is distinguished as the first to complete a unique, hyper-specialised fellowship in knee surgery spanning paediatric to adult patients.

His qualifications include advanced training in sports medicine (UK and International Olympic Committee), biomechanics, health service management, and multiple orthopaedic surgery certifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Economic Area.

Mr. Kwaees is involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across several European and UK universities and has published chapters on knee surgery and orthopaedic nanotechnology. He holds leadership roles in infection control and in organising national and regional multidisciplinary meetings on orthopaedic radiology and paediatric sports knee surgery.
