Meet Sarah Massa Our General Manager She/Her

As Client Relationship Manager, I’m here to facilitate the growth of the Expert Witnesses on our panel, as well as to recruit new and seasoned Experts to work alongside us in partnership. My role is to build relationships with Instructing Party solicitors and give them something innovative which makes MLAS the ‘go-to’ for Expert Witnesses. It is my job to grant solicitors direct access to specialty areas of expertise, in niche locations, making it easier for them to instruct their expert of choice.

My unique skill is juggling plates. With many experts comes a vast array of knowledge. Each Expert is clinically fantastic in their own right, but understanding their availability, sub-speciality areas, assessment locations, fee ranges, etc. is equally important. The selection of the most suitable expert for the instructing parties is made with informed consideration…It’s like Expert Tetris!

Fun fact: I’m not too bad on the old karaoke, although some may beg to differ 😊

Meet Gavin Rimmer Our Director He/Him

In my role as Managing Director, I am primarily responsible for ensuring the business's performance and continued growth, as well as maintaining a duty of care to all my colleagues.

One unique skill I bring to the table is that I am good in the bar! I enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere and serving others in this capacity.

What truly ignites my passion is the opportunity to meet and engage with people, whether they're part of our business or our customers. I find great joy in learning about what motivates and inspires people.

Fun Fact: I once aspired to become a fighter pilot, but unfortunately, my dreams were grounded due to my poor eyesight!

Meet Rachael Wilson Our Expert Liaison Lead She/Her

As Commercial Team Leader, I work closely with our Client Relationship Manager to lead our internal team through regular one-to-ones, comprehensive training, and daily mentorship. My objective is to ensure we consistently meet and exceed SLAs and KPIs, setting the stage for long-term success.

I am passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and fostering clear communication across all levels. My focus extends beyond that, encompassing strategic planning, proactive foresight, and expert team management to drive continuous improvement.

An interesting fact is that I find balance beyond work by volunteering as the Chairperson, Secretary, and Welfare Officer for my son’s U12’s football team – just another example of my dedication to teamwork and building positive relationships!

Meet Mikala Mitchell Our Commercial Lead She/Her

I’m a Commercial Lead with a strong focus on organisation, leadership, and building meaningful relationships. I have experience coordinating high-profile events and working closely with industry experts, partners to bring ideas to life and deliver real commercial value.

I enjoy connecting people, aligning teams, and making sure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Known for being proactive and highly organised, I’m comfortable managing multiple projects at once while keeping communication clear across teams and partners. My goal is always to create well-executed initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, support business growth, and leave a lasting impact.

Meet Jess Harrison Our Team Leader She/Her

I help support a group of Expert Assistants deliver a comprehensive service from start to finish. From document organisation and appointment arrangement, to helping finalise reports. The fuel that keeps me going is knowing the impact our work has on people’s lives. It’s incredibly motivating to be part of something that makes a difference.

My unique skill is that I am able to solve most report formatting issues, and I’m often the first person colleagues turn to when they need a formatting issue resolved.

Fun Fact: I am irrationally terrified of whales, they don't need to be that big!

Meet Dan Stowers Our Marketing Manager He/Him

At MLAS, marketing is more than emails and social media. Sure, we create those scroll-stopping images, but you’re more likely to find us on the road at our brilliant Meet & Mingle events with a camera in hand – or liaising with Expert Witnesses to support their business growth.

My unique skill is bringing together the best and brightest minds in our industry to network and explore new opportunities. Events are a melting pot of ideas, and the place where we improve our collective knowledge. Watch this space as we ramp up our events to new heights into 2024 and beyond!

Michael is a fast‑thinking, people‑first IT leader who sees his neurodivergence as a genuine superpower. As Head of IT he focuses on building secure, scalable systems that support clinics, staff, and NHS‑affiliated teams. With a background spanning development, cybersecurity, product design, and infrastructure, he loves turning complex problems into simple, working solutions. A proud parent of four, lifelong gamer, and football fan, Michael brings passion and energy to everything he does, especially when technology helps people do their best work.
